1. Our approach
When you first visit, we show a banner asking for your choices. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are set. No analytics or advertising technology loads before you consent — the tags are not merely inactive, they are not downloaded at all.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not delete data already collected, for which see your rights in our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include pixels (a tiny image or script that reports that a page was loaded) and local storage (a browser store a site can read and write). We use cookies, local storage and one advertising pixel; this policy covers all three.
3. Strictly necessary — always active
These are required for the site to work securely. They do not require consent under EU law and cannot be switched off here.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
mfa-consent-v1 | Master Forex Academy (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page. | Until you clear it |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots to protect the site from automated abuse. | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that a security challenge was passed, so you are not repeatedly challenged. | Up to 1 year |
4. Analytics — consent required
We do not currently use any third-party analytics cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, provides us with aggregate, cookie-free traffic counts which cannot identify you. If we add an analytics provider, we will list it here and ask for your consent first.
5. Marketing — consent required
Set only if you accept marketing cookies. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and these technologies let us measure whether those ads actually lead anyone to the site, and show ads to relevant audiences.
| Provider | Cookies / technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel) | _fbp, fr, and the Meta Pixel script
| Measuring the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and showing our ads to relevant audiences. Loaded only after you accept marketing cookies. | Up to 90 days (_fbp) |
Meta acts as an independent controller for some data collected via the Pixel. We receive aggregate reports only and cannot see your Meta profile. We do not upload customer lists to Meta. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies entirely. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working, and clearing your cookies will also clear your saved consent choice, so we will ask again on your next visit.
Instructions are published by each browser vendor for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge in their respective support documentation. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through Meta's own ad preferences settings within your Facebook or Instagram account.
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: if your browser sends one, we treat it as a refusal of non-essential cookies.
7. Do Not Track
There is still no agreed industry standard for handling browser “Do Not Track” headers. Rather than rely on it, we simply do not load non-essential technology unless you actively consent, which achieves the same outcome.
