1. Free lessons
The Free Fundamentals track (Modules 1 and 2) is provided free of charge. No payment details are collected and there is nothing to refund or cancel. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing info@masterforexit.com.
2. Paid courses — our 14-day guarantee
We offer a voluntary money-back guarantee on paid courses, which goes beyond the statutory minimum described in section 4.
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have accessed less than 20% of the course content.
The 20% condition exists because the material is digital and can be downloaded. It is measured by the proportion of lessons marked as viewed in your account, and we will tell you the figure we have recorded if you ask. We apply it in good faith: if you have read a little over the threshold and genuinely find the course is not what you expected, write to us and explain — we would rather resolve it fairly than argue over a percentage point.
This applies per person, not per purchase.
3. Mentorship
Where mentorship is sold as a cohort or for a fixed period:
- You may cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the cohort start date.
- After the cohort begins, we refund on a pro-rata basis for the sessions that have not yet taken place, less the value of any course material already accessed under section 2.
- If we cancel or fail to deliver a scheduled session and cannot reasonably reschedule it, we refund that session in full.
- Individual sessions you do not attend, without at least 24 hours' notice, are not refundable — the slot was reserved for you.
4. Your statutory right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)
As a consumer buying at a distance in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract without giving a reason. For digital content supplied immediately, that right is lost once supply has begun, provided you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right.
At checkout we ask you to give that consent, because you receive access straight away. Our guarantee in section 2 is therefore offered voluntarily and is more generous than the strict legal position: it gives you a 14-day window even though you have already received the content.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory right you have under the consumer law of your country of residence, including rights relating to content that is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
5. When we cannot offer a refund
We will normally decline a refund request in the following circumstances:
- More than 14 days have passed since purchase (subject to section 4 and section 6).
- You have accessed 20% or more of the course content, or downloaded the majority of the materials.
- The request is based on trading losses, or on the course not producing profits. We make no performance claims of any kind and state clearly throughout that trading carries a significant risk of loss — see our Risk Disclosure. Losses in the market are not a defect in the education.
- You have breached our Terms of Service, for example by sharing or redistributing course material.
- The purchase was made with a fraudulent or unauthorised payment method, in which case we handle it directly with the payment provider.
6. Exceptional circumstances
We are reasonable people. If you cannot use the course because of serious illness, bereavement, or another significant personal circumstance, write to us. We will usually offer to pause your access, extend it, or refund it, even outside the normal window. You do not need to provide medical details.
7. How to request a refund
Email info@masterforexit.com with the subject line “Refund request” and include:
- the email address you used to purchase;
- the date of purchase and the course or track bought;
- your order or invoice number, if you have it;
- optionally, why the course was not right for you — you are not obliged to tell us, but it helps us improve.
You do not need to use a special form. A plain email is sufficient, and it is effective from the moment you send it.
8. How refunds are processed
- We acknowledge every request within 2 working days.
- We decide and notify you within 5 working days of acknowledgement.
- Approved refunds are issued within 14 days of approval, to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- Your bank or card issuer may take a further 3–10 working days to show the credit. That part is outside our control.
- We refund the full amount you paid, including VAT. We do not deduct payment-processing fees from your refund.
- Access to the refunded material is revoked when the refund is issued, and you must delete any downloaded copies.
9. If we decline your request
We will tell you why, in writing, and point to the specific condition above that applies. If you disagree, reply and ask for it to be reviewed — a second person will look at it. You retain the right to complain to a consumer protection body in your country and, if you are an EU consumer, to use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. Your statutory rights are unaffected by our decision.
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback opened while we are actively resolving a request tends to freeze the payment and delay your money rather than speed it up.
